What is your cancellation policy? Refund policy?

Accepted Answer

If a registered tour guest cancels 24 hours or more prior to the tour, you will be refunded your ticket cost less an 8% processing fee per ticket. This small fee covers what your credit card charges for the original ticket as well as the refund.

Any booking may be rescheduled to another date, at no charge and space permitting, if done at least 24 hours prior to the tour.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time and no-shows are non-refundable, as food orders and restaurant arrangements are made in advance.

When is the best time to take the tour?

We highly recommend taking the tour at the beginning of your visit so you allow plenty of time to revisit many of the locations that you will learn about on tour.

How much walking is involved?

Tours typically last approximately 2.5–3 hours and include several walking stops in downtown Bozeman. Guests should be comfortable walking up to 1.5–2 miles at a relaxed pace.

How much food is served on the tour?

Our tours include tastings at multiple restaurants. There will be one or two items at each stop which can be food, drink, or a sweet treat.  Generally, participants are full by the end of the tour.  For afternoon tours, we recommend an early breakfast so you are hungry for the tour.

Does the tour guide accept gratuity?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Gratuities are not included for the guide in the ticket price. While not mandatory, if you had a great time, gratuities will be graciously accepted by your tour guide at the end of the tour. The standard gratuity in the industry is 15-20%.

What happens if it rains?

Rain or shine, we dine. Tours operate in most weather conditions. Guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for the forecast. In the event of unsafe or severe weather, we may cancel or reschedule tours for guest safety.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

Accepted Answer

Guests should notify us of dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of booking. There is space on the booking form to do so. While we work with our restaurant partners to accommodate common dietary needs, accommodations cannot always be guaranteed. Guests with severe food allergies participate at their own discretion.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

Yes. Tickets must be purchased in advance as tours may sell out. To maximize your chances of getting the day, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.

Question 9

Do I need to bring my ID for drinks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Some tours may include alcoholic beverages. Guests consuming alcohol must be 21 years or older and may be asked to present valid identification.

Question 10

Does the tour end at the same place we start?

Accepted Answer

No but the end point is usually within a couple blocks of the starting point. The tour guide can help lead you back to the starting point at the conclusion of the tour if needed.

Is there parking near the tour meeting point?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We recommend you park in the Bridger Park Downtown Garage at 26 E Mendenhall St, Bozeman, MT 59715. The first 2 hours of parking are free, then $1 per hour thereafter. 
 
***Please note***  There are several other public parking lots as well as on-street parking, however, they are limited to two hours of parking. After 2 hours in the same place, parking citation may be issued. The tour typically lasts 2.5-3 hours so park in those areas at your own risk.

Are bathrooms available during the tours?

Yes, bathrooms are available at most stops on the tours. We do recommend that you use the facilities before meeting up for the tour, so that we can stay on schedule and maximize our tastings!

Are cameras allowed on the tour?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Please take as many photos or film as you like! In fact, we would love it if you shared pictures and videos of your experience with us either by email (hello@savorbozeman.com) or via Instagram. If you email us, please let us know if we can publish your pictures/videos on our website and/or social media pages.

Question 14

Are children allowed? Do they need a ticket?

Everyone who requires a seat requires a ticket and will receive full food portions.

Children are welcome on the tours. Please bear in mind that our tours typically last close to three hours, involve anywhere from one to two miles of walking, and can involve significant amounts of standing. Parents, please assess the situation individually and consider this when making a choice about whether the tour is appropriate for your children.

If your child is very young, will be sitting in your lap, and will not be eating or will be sharing food with you along the way, there is no need to purchase a ticket.

Is the tour baby stroller and/or wheelchair accessible?

Stroller and wheelchair access may be limited on certain tours, however we would like for everyone to be able to enjoy our tours. Please contact us (hello@savorbozeman.com) to discuss which tours would be most appropriate for your group.

Are gift certificates available?

Yes. A food tour is a wonderful gift! Please visit our the Gift Cards page to learn more about purchasing a gift certificate.

How do I redeem a gift card?

Choose the tour you would like to book. When you get to the payment screen, click "Redeem a gift card" and enter the gift card code from your certificate.

Can I book a private tour?

Yes. Most of our private tours are customized for each group. Please arrange your tour directly with Savor Bozeman by calling (406) 500-5273 or emailing hello@savorbozeman.com. Please let us know the date and time you wish to take a tour, the number of people you will be bringing, and any special requests.
